Eurowise Off-Road Porsche Cayenne and Volkswagen Touareg

Eurowise Turns Heads in North Carolina

In April, the Tread team flew out to North Carolina for Overland Challenge Spring 2021 and made a pitstop. We had heard about Eurowise, the European performance, service and fabrication specialists, and wanted to see firsthand what they’ve been up to in the east coast off-road scene. Owner Mike Ngo welcomed us in, showed us around and told us of how they’ve been pioneering their way with European builds in the off-road world. Mike has been bringing the European 4×4 market to life and we could see why. He and his team in Charlotte, North Carolina, have started fabricating and installing parts specific to European vehicles, especially the Porsche Cayenne, Volkswagen Touareg and Mercedes-Benz G-Wagons.

At the shop we learned the history and roots of Eurowise. Starting out as a Volkswagen guy, Mike started his own business performing European car service. Eurowise is a top shop in Charlotte, North Carolina, for performance and service, but Mike has expanded his offerings to include lift kits and roof racks for off-road application.

Through his own driving experience with his Cayenne and Tourareg, he’s delivering options for those who own those vehicles. We got firsthand experience driving the Volkswagen Touareg on the trails in Uwharrie National Forest. No doubt, we turned many heads over the three days, all impressed with the capabilities of the VW.
